Stick A Corkcicle In It
Featured Posts,Gadgets
Designing something ingenious is easy. All you have to do is think of something no one’s ever thought of before. That, and well, invent it. And patent it. And make sure it works. And sell it. And make sure nobody copies or steals it.
Still, one of the smartest inventions we’ve seen in a while: The Corkcicle.
Check it out: You stick the Corkcicle tube in the freezer, wait a little bit for the magic gel inside to freeze, then drop it down into your bottle of wine. Two things: 1) It chills a red for better drinkability, and 2) chills a white while avoiding the most common white wine mistake–making the wine too cold.
Actually, three things: 3) The ice chamber is topped with a cork so you can seal your wine properly!
The Corkcicle really seems perfect. Does it work? We have no idea! But logic says yes. This nifty device costs $22 and gets discounted for packs of multiples. Give it a try.
Now that that’s been invented, we can all get back to our other zany invention ideas, like maybe fork/spoon combo. Nah, that’ll never work.
