Make Sweet Love on Thursday
Featured Posts,The Dish
We’ve apparently been doing this all wrong. Ever since the first big event, we’ve believed in throwing smaller, lead-up events. It’s a great way to get people on the chatter tip and generate a few snapshots of people loving what you’re doing. But the folks at Cupcake Love-In have made us wonder – should we be Cupcake Charge-In‘?
To celebrate their big cupcake competition, which sold out last October at Hotel Valley Ho, they’re doing a smaller lead-up event this Thursday night and chargin’ $25 at the door. We normally just give away the booze. Shows how much we know. But this ain’t no simple cupcake cover charge. For it, you’ll get:
Cupcakes (obviously)
One cupcake-inspired cocktail
Event t-shirt by local company, Brand X
Raffle entry
A discounted menu for food
Plus, a portion of proceeds will go to Lost Our Home Pet Foundation. So do it for the dogs, would ya? It all takes place at the new Citizen Public House in Old Town Scottsdale, February 17, from 5pm-7pm.
