If you went anywhere for Restaurant Week this week, you got ripped off. Come to think of it, no matter where you’ve eaten in the last year, you got ripped off. That is, of course, in comparison to the deal that Sushi Roku is rolling out starting on Monday. In celebration of their two-year anniversary, Sushi Roku is slashing the entire food menu by 50% after 5pm, everyday from September 27th until October 1st.

They did this last year and reservations booked up fast. It’s no surprise, considering you can gorge on the likes of Yuzu-drizzled octopus, Toro hand rolls, and oysters with uni and caviar. Hell, you might even just sit at the sushi bar, name a price point, and go Omakase-style.

And this Monday, Sushi Roku is officially debuting the Red Sun Lounge (pictured above), a new dining and cocktailing space at the apex of that staircase by the bar. It basically leads to a cool, private area adjacent to the WET deck pool. The Red Sun Lounge menu will feature shrimp and bacon skewers, Yellowtail Tartare on crispy rice cakes, and fresh raw items such as oysters on the half shell. It’s only open Thursdays-Mondays. Before you ask, we gotta tell ya: this weeks’ half-price deal doesn’t apply up there.
