GASTRO-INTENTIONAL PROBLEM
The Dish
Everyone knows that EATERAZ is where one goes for a dose of reality served with a side of humor.
But where to we go for our inspiration? From time to time, we like to share stories that we find so good that we can’t improve upon them. Today’s little nugget comes from http://ny.eater.com.— “10 Restaurant Concepts That Don’t Mean Anything Anymore.” And Lord knows we’ve got a bunch of them in this town, from places that call any dish served on a small plate “tapas,” to places that serve farm-to-table dinners that are anything but.
So, instead of making our list of local restaurants that use terms like “gastropub,” “bistro,” and “upscale comfort food,” we’d like to put the project in YOUR hands! Send us a list of restaurants that fit Eater’s Top 10, and you could win a $100 gift certificate to one of the restaurants on your list. (Simply “star” the spot you’d like to dine at!) We’ll pick a winner next week.
E-mail your list to edit@eateraz.com, or simply post it in the comment section below. Your anonymity will be protected, if you like. But we will publish some of our favorite comments!
Have fun!
