We run into a dilemma at about this time every year. There’s a food festival every five minutes in the Valley from March to May, and we want to do something in between exhaustively listing them all, and, well, not exhaustively listing them all. So, over the next month or so, be aware that you’ll be hearing about only the best ones from us. How do we know which ones are the best? Because we’re friggin’ experts, that’s why.
We kick it all off with Devoured, a new name for an established event at The Phoenix Art Museum. As the new incarnation of West of Western, Devoured will focus on locally owned restaurants during its two days of food and drinks (March 13 & 14 from 11am-4 pm) served in the sculpture garden and inside the galleries themselves. Live bands will play, Blood Into Wine will screen, seminars will be given, and local chefs will do demos on the cooking stage. Plus, admission to the Museum is included in the $65 one-day entrance fee ($90 both days; $75 at the door).
The participating restaurant list is a mile long – view it by clicking here. But also, EATERAZ will be there slingin’ cups of Blue Bell ice cream and playing Pass the Pigs to promote the Arizona Barbecue Festival. So stop by and say Hi!
