SPANISH FLY SUNDAY

This Sunday, 40 people are going to have a better day than most people around town. They’re going to drink lots of Spanish wine and eat paella at the Arcadia Fine Wine Anniversary Party. Held in the hip and sexy Arcadia shop at Safari Drive (4747 N. Scottsdale Rd.), this event will take place between 4-6pm on November 8.

The fact that shop owner Kate Portanova has managed to navigate the tumultuous waters of staying open in a real estate development that crashed and burned should be celebrated, so help her drink wine from over a dozen producers, including Gran Riocua, Maius, Palacio Quemado, Pane; Réquiem, Roble Nocedal, Senorio de Cruces, and Torreblanca. Besides paella Arcadia’s serving traditional Spanish finger foods, as well.

Acadia’s One Year costs $30 and comes with all the wine and paella you can handle. Make reservations by e-mailing rsvp@arcadiafinewine.com or calling (480) 970-0646.
