TRAVEL REPORT—There’s never been a better reason to book a flight to Vegas than what just opened at Caesars Palace: the new “Krug Room” at Restaurant Guy Savoy. Although there’s no sex in this particular Champagne room, there is a seasonally changing menu from the chefs at Guy Savoy and lots and lots of fine Champagne. Think Krug’s Grande Cuvée, Rosé, Vintages from 1985 through 1995, Clos du Mesnil, and many others. Krug Rooms themselves are nothing new (there are ones in London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong), but the private dining space here is decadently sleek, minimal, and designed to let the bubbles speak for themselves. So maybe there is sex in the Champagne room, just not the kind you’re thinking of, you dirty bastard.
